Budget solution for reliable power supply

The Ukrainian brand 2E, which until recently specialized in the field of consumer electronics, was forced to expand its range in 2022 due to Russian aggression. The result of this expansion is the 2E Generator 2E-BS1500, an affordable mini power station that can come in handy during power outages, power outages or other emergencies. The generator has a rated power of 0.8 kW (temporarily withstands a load of up to 1 kW) - not much, but enough to provide lighting, operate a refrigerator and create comfortable conditions in a private home or country house.

Advantages and disadvantages of the 2E generator

Electricity in the 2E-BS1500 generator is produced by a synchronous alternator with an AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator), which maintains the voltage at 230 V, with minimal variations that do not significantly affect the operation of household appliances (except for very sensitive devices) or the brightness of lamps. The generator runs on a four-stroke gasoline engine with a volume of 98 cm³, with manual start and fuel consumption of 450 g/kWh. The large tank holds 6 liters of fuel, which ensures long-term operation of the generator, even during long power outages. The generator is also equipped with a fuel level indicator for the user and a sensor that automatically turns off the engine when there is no fuel. The front panel of the generator is simple and not overloaded with devices, which makes its use quite simple even for inexperienced users.

The main disadvantage of the 2E 2E-BS1500 generator is its weight of 26.4 kg - a little heavy for a device less than 1 kW. This may be inconvenient if the generator needs to be moved frequently, but in stationary or occasional use it is not a major problem.
