Appetizing chicken every day
Choice Puppy dry dog food is considered to be a super-premium complete food for puppies of medium and large breeds. The manufacturer recommends including food in the diet at the age of 2 to 14 months, however, experienced veterinarians assure that its use can be started from three weeks as a weaning from mother's milk. It is better to do this gradually, in small quantities and in a softened form, by the way, the food is perfectly softened by water.
Rich composition
The feed contains 50 different ingredients designed to work on the enrichment and growth of the animal's body. Among such a variety, the first positions remain the main ones, providing the basis of the composition. The very first ingredient is chicken flour. It is very commendable that the composition does not contain frozen offal and fish ingredients. Despite the fact that a high protein content is indicated, it is "pulled" mainly from chicken meat meal. Such a protein component as chicken liver hydrolyzate occupies only the eighth line and most likely serves to improve palatability, and not as an independent source of protein.
Fats and carbohydrates are also generously presented in the feed. Doxohesanoic acid Omega-3 has a beneficial effect on development, perception and the central nervous system, and chondroitin and glucosamine will take care of joint health.
Composition questions
Studying the composition, one can note a good ratio of phosphorus, calcium and vitamin D, which will help the harmonious development of puppies, strengthening the skeleton.
An undoubted advantage is the absence of soy, wheat and corn, but at the same time, such an ingredient as chopped fibre confuses. The manufacturer does not indicate the origin of the latter and the conclusion suggests itself that the ingredient is ballast and does not benefit.
There is also a question about preservatives. Despite the fact that the food is positioned as natural, the chemical element — calcium propionate, is still present.
There are many different useful additives in the feed, but their exact amount, unfortunately, is not indicated.
In general, many dog owners consider this food an excellent solution for puppies' daily diet, noting the timely development, the absence of allergic reactions and the love of pets for fragrant granules.
