AMD Infinity Cache. Low power consumption. 8 GB video memory.

Compact, but at the same time quite performant mid-range gaming graphics card of the 2021 model. Such a device is primarily designed to provide the reference 60 FPS in modern gaming titles of 2016-2021 at high graphics settings and at 1080P resolution. Differs in the compact sizes of the printed circuit board — 193 mm in length. The manufacturer provides a Dual-X cooling system, equipped with two fans with an intelligent control system, which allows you to maintain a balance between temperature and noise.

On the reverse side of the card is an aluminium stiffening plate. Based on the 7nm RDNA 2 architecture, the Sapphire Radeon RX 6600 PULSE graphics card is capable of delivering excellent performance in today's games at FullHD resolution. Equipped with 32 high-performance computing units, proprietary AMD Infinity cache, and 8 GB of dedicated GDDR6 video memory. Support for ray tracing technology has been implemented, which brings the realism of lighting and reflections of the game world to a whole new level.

Supported proprietary scaling technology AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (similar to Nvidia DLSS), which in some games can significantly increase the resolution without a drop in performance. At the same time, you can optimize the gameplay using one of four preset settings profiles that allow you to choose between maximum detail and speed. Supports high-speed PCI-E Gen4 x16 system interface, works with any current monitor models (including 4K and 8K) and VR headsets.

8GB GDDR6 VRAM + AMD Infinity Cache

The Sapphire Radeon RX 6600 PULSE is a dual-slot upgrade to the popular entry-level graphics card from Radeon, featuring an AMD Navi 23 GPU with 32 powerful advanced compute units and AMD Infinity Cache. "On board" there is 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory with a classic 128-bit bus for data exchange. Supports software ray tracing and artificial scaling (AMD FSR), but does not do it as well as competing NVIDIA models equipped with Tensor Cores.

Small and productive

The Sapphire version is relatively small (193x120x40mm, occupies 2 slots) and shouldn't cause too much headache during assembly. To cool the video core, a proprietary Cooling system Dual-X with two fans that support intelligent control is used. The casing of the cooling system is made of plastic, the protective plate on the reverse side is metal. By tradition, for the series, the manufacturer tried to save on minor things, so he abandoned the backlight, which for many users is more of an advantage than a disadvantage. One of the charms of the model is low power consumption in the region of 140 W, so the manufacturer recommends using a 500 W power supply to power the entire system.

Ideal for 1080p gaming

The overall performance of the Navi 23 core and the presence of 8 GB of fast video memory make the Sapphire Radeon RX 6600 PULSE feel like a duck to water when playing at Full HD resolution. When switching to 2K, the potential owner will have to mess around with the game's graphical settings a bit, removing "heavy" but not very useful options like motion blur and ultra-class particle post-processing. If the budget allows, then you can drop another $50-70 and take the older Radeon RX 6600 XT model with the same 8 GB of video memory, PCI-E 4.0 bus and an identical video core, but higher GPU and memory clock speeds. Depending on the resolution selected in the game, the difference in performance between the 6600 and 6600 XT ranges from 14 to 22%.
