A cordless hammer drill with an SDS+ chuck and two operating modes. The hammer drilling function can be used to drill holes in concrete (up to ⌀18 mm) and brickwork. The hammerless mode is designed for drilling wood (up to ⌀24 mm) and metal (up to ⌀13 mm). The Makita DHR183Z hammer drill is equipped with a brushless motor (useful power 500 W) with a function for maintaining speed under load and an impact mechanism with an impact energy of 1.7 J.
The tool has an anti-vibration system that significantly reduces the load on the user's hands during operation, and a built-in LED backlight that allows you to drill holes in places with insufficient lighting. The hammer drill is supplied with an additional handle and a depth limiter, but without a battery and charger. A battery from the Makita 18V LXT family should be used as a power source.
