A range of radial (centrifugal) exhaust fans with perimetral suction, a removable washable filter, built-in check valve, and durable ball bearings with a lifespan of approximately 40,000 hours. The main feature of this family of devices is the presence of a fire damper designed for operation in fire protection systems. They are positioned as premium-priced products aimed at use in residential and commercial ventilation systems.
Unlike axial models, Maico ER-APB fans use a centrifugal impeller with optimally shaped blades. This configuration allows for the creation of increased pressure needed to move air through the common shafts of high-rise buildings. The internal components of the fans are protected from moisture ingress by the IPX5 standard, making possible their prolonged operation in humid areas. A removable washable G2 class filter, located behind a matte front panel, protects not only the motor but also the internal surface of the ducts from grease and dust accumulation. Ball bearings allow the fan to be installed vertically on a wall or horizontally in a ceiling without the risk of premature wear.
