For protection on the hill that keeps us comfortable all season long, we clip on the Smith Maze Round Contour Fit Helmet. The slight brim helps give a seamless helmet-goggle fit, while the AirEvac tec more→h prevents our lenses from fogging when we're charging hard. Equipped with a flexible fit system and removable ear pads, this helmet molds to our head and transitions from frigid winter resort laps to balmy spring runs with ease.
We take on those big objectives with the Smith Mission MIPS Helmet. Built with the MIPS impact system, this helmet redirects energy during impact to reduce rotational forces and add protection in the more→case of a crash. The EPS foam interior and polycarbonate shell exterior work together to help protect and fend off low hanging branches or hard packed snow. Adjustable ventilation allows for airflow to cool off the interior of the helmet, but can also be closed off during especially cold days when that extra warmth is wanted. If the day does get too warm, the ear pads can be removed in order to dump extra heat and allow for additional climate control.
Giro based the design of its Dime kids’ helmet on its adult helmet—the Quarter. The Dime is comprised of an ABS shell with impact-absorbing EPS foam inside. The interior padding can be adjusted to per more→fect the Dime’s fit. The Dime also has eight air vents to cool Junior’s head. The best part of the Giro Dime, however, is that it’s completely at home on four wheels or two, so the only time your little ripper will take the Dime off will be bedtime. Oh, and dinner.
Updated to have an even greater value, the Wanderer II Helmet offers greater protection at a lighter weight and price. It features the same systems, which have always made it extraordinary but with sh more→aved weight to stop that heavy-headed feeling from bogging us down in the rapids.
With advanced Mips technology, an aerodynamic design, and sleek aesthetics, the POC Omne Ultra Mips Helmet is the ultimate choice for gravel riders of any level. In the event of a crash, an EPS liner more→and PC shell add strength and stability as the Mips protection system protects our head from rotational forces. The 360° adjustment system and easily adjustable straps ensure a secure, comfortable fit, while the pass-through ventilation system keeps our heads cool as we ride through the wind.
The Radix helmet supplies top-notch functionality and durability features at an entry-level price point. MIPS technology diffuses rotational force in the event of a crash, giving you confidence in you more→r equipment and as a result, your riding.
The Tectal Race MIPS Helmet has been a favorite of ours for years now, providing us with a comfortable, airy feel on the trail while keeping us protected from the occasional tumble or low-hanging tree more→branch. For the latest version of the Tectal Race, POC phases out its SPIN technology in favor of an integrated MIPS system developed specifically for POC helmets. This sheds some weight while still offering protection against rotational impact forces.

If your little ripper disappears into the park every time you ski together, get him the Smith Holt Jr. Helmet for some much-needed parental peace of mind. The Bombshell ABS shell and molded EPS foam l more→iner are what you want in between your kid’s noggin and all the trial and error that comes with winter sports, and the skate-inspired design is what the half-pint shredder wants to rock when out riding with friends. The AirFlow Climate Control makes sure he stays cool on the warmer days spent hiking the rail line, and AirEvac ventilation reduces goggle fog by routing air from the forehead out the top vents. The Holt Jr. doubles as a skate/bike helmet in the summer because of an included convertible pa…
