It is best to check the dirt level in the bag before each use. For best performance, it is recommended that you change your bag when it is 1/2 to 2/3 full or when the outside of the bag feels firm to more→the touch. When accumulated, small dust particles can keep the air from circulating, this can reduce the suction in your vacuum. You may need to change your bag more frequently when vacuuming fine dust and debris, pet hair or new carpet. It is also recommended to check your vacuum filters at the same time

You should check your cleaner's rotating floor brush and drive belt regularly for wear or damage. Replace the belt if it is broken or worn. The drive belt is a critical component of your vacuum that a more→llows the brush roll to spin and help remove dirt and debris from your carpets. If your vacuum is not cleaning as well as it had before or the brush roll has stopped turning, you may have to change the belt. If you notice a rubber smell coming from your vacuum you should check your belt for any signs of wear. To change the belt, please refer to your user guide for installation instructions.
