Everyday protection shouldn't mean breaking the bank, and it certainly shouldn't mean skipping out on critical technology when it comes to shielding your noggin. With the Smith Convoy MIPS helmet you more→can have your cake and eat it too, with an accommodating price point, and in-mold polycarbonate shell that takes the brunt of impacts. Additionally, Smith equips the helmet with MIPS technology to reduce forces in rotational hits.
Updated to have an even greater value, the Wanderer II Helmet offers greater protection at a lighter weight and price. It features the same systems, which have always made it extraordinary but with sh more→aved weight to stop that heavy-headed feeling from bogging us down in the rapids.
Kask turned the dial up with their Protone Icon Helmet. Enhancing upon its base version, the Icon features an even sleeker shape to maximize ventilation and aerodynamics so we may move at greater spee more→ds with greater comfort. And while comfort is of high importance, protection is even more so. We can trust the rotational tests of Kask for that.
Style meets ventilation for total comfort in all-mountain applications in the new Smith Session MIPS Helmet. This all-new cranium coverage keeps your noggin on lockdown with a combination of Smiths Ko more→royd technology and MIPS, shielding you from impacts both direct and oblique, so you can charge through rowdy rock gardens while staying ventilated as you weave your way through technical switchbacks to the top for round two. And Smith doesn't hold back on the good looks either, with a modern and sleek style that falls neatly between the previously loved Rover and Forefront, giving just a little more coverage than its cross-country cousin, but with less bulk than the enduro-ready Forefront.
Full-face helmets offer the best level of protection for mountain biking, but are often cumbersome and lack the ventilation needed for anything other than downhill. Enter the Stage Mips Helmet from Tr more→oy Lee Designs. An impressively low weight combined with extensive ventilation make the Stage Mips our choice for enduro-style riding or racing, where technical descents worthy of a full-face helmet are mixed in with climbs and long transfer stages. It's still downhill certified, ensuring it can hold up to high-energy impacts if you're riding DH or bike park, but the lightweight and highly-ventilated design make it much more enjoyable for the rides when you have to earn your descent first.
Edelrid made its Men's Shield II Climbing Helmet lightweight and robust so you don't have a reason to leave it behind when you tackle long, demanding routes. Its In-Mold construction consists of a tou more→gh polycarbonate shell and an expanded polystyrene foam that you can remove if you need more room. The Wing-Fit adjustable system includes a fully adjustable chin strap and a rear dial for a comfortable fit. Airflow ventilation utilizes ten large openings to provide all the fresh air your melon needs, and four headlamp clips make sure you don't have to adjust your headlamp's band every fifteen feet on your rappel.

We take on those big objectives with the Smith Mission MIPS Helmet. Built with the MIPS impact system, this helmet redirects energy during impact to reduce rotational forces and add protection in the more→case of a crash. The EPS foam interior and polycarbonate shell exterior work together to help protect and fend off low hanging branches or hard packed snow. Adjustable ventilation allows for airflow to cool off the interior of the helmet, but can also be closed off during especially cold days when that extra warmth is wanted. If the day does get too warm, the ear pads can be removed in order to dump extra heat and allow for additional climate control.
