Video reviews

The Dutch company Vredestein is by no means a newcomer to the tyre arena. She has been moving in these circles for more than a century. In 2016, the high-performance summer car model Ultrac Satin was added to the brand's product range.

Improvements on all fronts

The tyre replaced the popular Vredestein Ultrac Cento rubber from the assembly line. The newly-made model has been "pumped" the handling indicators on dry pavement, the sensitivity of the reaction to steering commands and have achieved a reduction in the braking distance. Also, the tyre is able to boast low rolling resistance, which affects the reduction in fuel consumption. According to the European tyre labeling system, the model has been assigned a B fuel efficiency class.

High speed ambition

The tyre is adapted for high speeds, which is confirmed by the high-speed Y index (up to 300 km/h). For directional stability when driving in a straight line, a wide central stiffener is responsible. In general, the Vredestein Ultrac Satin tread pattern is characterized by an asymmetric arrangement of functional blocks, which leads to excellent grip on dry and wet roads.

Remarkable appearance

In various tests of summer tyres, the model constantly takes places in the "golden mean". Its strengths are "wet" braking and the aforementioned fuel efficiency, and not the best handling on wet roads is a fly in the ointment. The remarkable design complements the overall positive picture of the tyre — it’s not without reason that Vredestein Ultrac Satin was developed in collaboration with the legendary design bureau Giugiaro.
