I did not immediately come to the choice of an infrared heater. At first I thought that the best option is a fan heater. Indeed, a fan heater helps to warm up the air quite quickly, but it dries it unrealistically. I needed a heater, with which I could come for an hour and a half to a rather cool room and work quietly there. Oil heaters are generally not suitable for such a task, convectors are also poorly suited, in both cases the air and the room warm up too slowly. But the infrared heater for such a task came up perfectly. I specifically bought a small portable model of light weight and this is just the case when small and bold)) The power of one and a half kilowatts is a decent amount, yet the heater weighs only 1200 grams. It is easy and simple to move and place in the desired location. But the greatest advantage of such a type of heaters is not in the good mass and dimensional figures, but in the very principle of heating. High-temperature tubular heating elements heat up to a temperature that they start to transfer most of the energy not through convection to the air, but as infrared radiation. It is precisely this that can be felt on the skin when near the heater. It turns out that the heater warms not so much the air but everything it "illuminates" with the infrared stream, direct it towards yourself and it feels like standing under the sun. This model has three heating stages, resulting in stepped regulation with a scheme of 500+500+500. It also has a built-in system to turn off the heaters if they are overturned. Additionally, it comes with a two-year warranty. If the fan heater dries the air, then the infrared heater immediately dries the skin. Sitting motionless under it is not worth turning around, otherwise the skin will really suffer. |

this heater has stood the test of time and war, saving us in the basement along with an extension cord and still saves us when there is electricity. However, for some reason, the tip-over switch no longer works, but I guess it's just a matter of time. Overall, it's a great device, but you need to buy a humidifier with it because it dries the air a lot.
