Model overview based on user reviews
The Toyo Open Country W/T tires are highly praised for their performance across various surfaces, including mud, snow, packed snow, and ice. Users appreciate their stability and quiet operation, especially in temperatures ranging from plus 10 degrees to sub-zero conditions. They remain soft and reliable even in winter conditions, although caution is advised on ice. The tires are noted for their excellent braking capabilities and well-balanced sidewalls. While they perform well in most conditions, there is some slippage in loose snow and clay. Overall, the quality and durability of these Japanese-made tires are commendable, with users expressing confidence in their long-lasting performance.
Pros
Cons
I generally liked the tires, I've tried them on different temperatures and road surfaces. From plus 10 degrees, they perform confidently, quietly, and smoothly; from 0 to 10 degrees, everything remains predictable. I liked them at sub-zero temperatures too, staying soft and quiet, not failing on ice, but even so, you need to drive with particular care in winter, no matter what tires you have. Stable on almost any surface, it performs excellently in mud, snow, packed snow, and also does well on ice. Does not like loose snow and clay - there is slippage. |
Bought them with the first cold weather, the tires are quiet, soft, braking is excellent, haven't used them in snow and ice yet, as the weather is still fine. I liked the sidewalls - a golden mean, very much hope for the quality of Toyo, the summer ones went 80,000 in two seasons and judging by everything, they'll last for the same again. Awesome tires in every way, Japan is Japan! Didn't really find anything use Toyo Open Country W/T month or more i recommend it should buy |
