Symmetrical design

The tyre was rolled out to replace the popular Observe G3-Ice model. The design of the tread pattern and the layout of the "seating" of the spikes have undergone modernization in it. In particular, the Toyo Observe Ice-Freezer tread is made in a symmetrical directional style with large arrow-shaped blocks in the centre. Drainage grooves cut off the checkers in the shoulder areas, located exactly opposite the elements in the central part. When accelerating the car on ice, the spike bites into the roadway with sharp multidirectional edges, and when braking, it clings to the ice with the plane of the carbide insert. The car’s patency on loose snow is increased by powerful Snow Blade lugs in the “shoulders”.

The tyre maintains optimal softness over a wide temperature range, including at severe sub-zero temperatures overboard the "iron horse". The level of controllability and stability of the car on snowy and slippery roads is increased by another technological feature — a special composition of the Microbit rubber compound with crushed walnut shells. The mediocre qualities of the tyre are manifested when braking on dry pavement and in terms of fuel efficiency, but only at high speeds. In general, the model delivers entirely positive emotions — you don’t expect anything else from the rubber of the top segment.
