Asymmetrical tread
When developing the tyre tread, it was decided to focus on the principles of asymmetry. The inner part of the tread pattern of the tyre is characterized by a high density of lamella cutting - it provides excellent grip on slippery winter roads. There are much fewer sipes in the outer segment of the tread; this part is responsible for reliable grip on dry and wet road surfaces.
All weather character
The tyre tread was equipped with the so-called "snow claws" to enhance traction in loose snow. The drainage system of the model also receives positive reviews, which effectively copes with the removal of water and melted snow. Toyo Celsius resists hydroplaning and slashplaning well, which eliminates trouble when driving in rainy weather and when it snows.
Golden mean
In 2019, experts from the German publication Auto Bild tested the tyre at the test site and compared it with all-season counterparts. According to the totality of parameters, the model took a place in the "golden mean" without obvious failures and leadership qualities. The only complaint about the tyre is the low fuel efficiency rating. However, this is compensated by the high tyre mileage before tread wear.
