Model overview based on user reviews
The Termia EIPS-1.2/220 1.2 kW infrared heater is praised for its affordability, making it challenging to find a similar product at this price point. It heats up immediately, providing warmth from the first minutes, which is particularly beneficial in rooms with high ceilings. The heater features a thin metal case with a reflector and two quartz tubes, effectively heating objects rather than the air, offering comfort quickly. It operates almost silently and can be used at half power (600 watts) if less heat is needed. However, the thin metal case is delicate, and prolonged exposure can dry out the skin. Overall, it's a very inexpensive and efficient infrared heater.

Very inexpensive infrared heater
30 November 2017
The price is one of the main advantages of this heater. Buy something similar for the money is difficult. Of course, it would be possible to purchase the cheapest electric convector, but the ceilings in our room are high and it is only by the end of the day that the entire volume can be warmed up in a natural way. But this infrared device starts to heat up immediately and it is felt from the first minutes. It consists of a thin metal case with a reflector and two quartz tubes, which, when heated to a high temperature, provide the very thermal radiation. The advantage is that it is mainly the objects that the heater is directed at that are heated, and not the air. So if, for example, you need to go to work in the archive, then you can take the heater with you, turn it on and feel more or less comfortable from the first minutes. This is possible only with infrared heaters, any other heating methods cannot work this way. If a lot of heat is not needed, then the heater can be operated at half the power of 600 watts. It works almost silently, which distinguishes it from the former favorite, the fan heater.
The case is made of thin metal, you can wash it even with your hands. It is uncomfortable to sit under such a heater all day, the skin dries up.
