Quiet operation without vibration

Design-demanding buyers will like the axial exhaust fan of the Spanish manufacturer Soler&Palau SILENT-100 CRZ DESIGN. This model of the designer series does not just remove air from the room, but does it very quietly, thanks to the use of ball bearings and the motor is fixed to the housing using rubber-metal silent blocks. The noise pressure level of this model does not exceed 27 dB. The air suction capacity is 85 m³/h with a motor power consumption of only 8 watts. The motor runs at a constant fan speed of 2400 rpm, creating an air draft directed towards the ventilation duct. The air is sucked in by the multi-bladed impeller from a gap in the end part of the device, formed when the decorative panel is attached to 4 support ledges.

On the rear wall of the device there is a check valve with petal shutters that open during operation and closed when idle. The damper prevents the back flow of air when the fan is off, preventing drafts and foreign odours from entering the room. A notable feature of the model is its equipping with an adjustable off timer, in which you can set the automatic shutdown time of the device within 1 – 30 minutes after the lights go out in the room. Compliance of the tightness of the device with the 2nd class and the degree of water protection IP45 allows the fan to be used in bathrooms and toilets.

Easy change of appearance

The mains cable for connecting the device is isolated from accidental ingress of moisture from condensate with a special rubber bushing installed in the housing. This serves as additional protection against electric shock. The SILENT-100 CRZ DESIGN model has two colours of the decorative panel with a size of 188x188 mm: white and silver. Depending on the belonging to the series, fans of the SILENT DESIGN line can be equipped with 4 – 5 additional interchangeable strips for the front panel, made of transparent, tinted plastic. They expand the possibility of customizing the appearance of the device. The operating status of the fan is indicated by a small signal indicator lamp, which glows from under the replaceable coloured decor strip.
