Model overview based on user reviews
The Sailun Ice Blazer WST3 tires have received mixed reviews from users. While they are praised for their affordable price, there are significant concerns about their performance. Some users report that these tires lack traction on snowy roads, leading to frequent skidding and prolonged stopping distances, with the ABS often activating during braking. Another user noted that the tires are a bit noisy, comparing the sound to that of a helicopter, which can be uncomfortable, especially at higher speeds. Despite these drawbacks, some users find them suitable for city driving and appreciate their durability in extreme cold conditions. Overall, the tires may be a budget-friendly option, but potential buyers should consider their specific driving needs and conditions.

the tires are good for the city, where the speed limit is not above 70, but further on it's like in a fighter jet - "normal flight", well, they are not for the highway!!!
holds course well, rows well, is resistant to sudden maneuvers
it sounds like a helicopter, very uncomfortable

The tire company Sailun is one of the largest manufacturers in China. Its product range includes offerings for passenger cars, crossovers, SUVs, and trucks. Car owners with a limited budget will appreciate the Ice Blazer WST3 "studded" tires, which are entirely focused on driving on slippery winter roads.

Deadly Grip

The tread pattern of the tire is unidirectional with deep transverse and radial grooves for instant removal of dirt, slush, and water from the contact patch. As is typical for good winter tires, the tread blocks are densely crosscut with wave-like sipes, most of which are turned perpendicular to the direction of travel. Thus, thousands of traction edges are formed, allowing the tire to grip ice and packed snow. An additional, or rather the main element ensuring a firm "grip" is the firmly placed studs arranged in 8 continuous rows.

All Zones Are Needed, All Zones Are Important

The central rib of the Sailun Ice Blazer WST3 tread in the shape of a herringbone ensures the car's directional stability. Also, an important role is played by the shoulder blocks with serrated edges that guarantee responsive handling on ice and snowy roads. Simultaneously, the protrusions on the walls of the drainage grooves in the shoulder area of the tread break down the snow mass, enabling its quick removal from the contact patch.

Wide Range

Perhaps the most significant drawback of the model is its increased noisiness when driving on paved roads. Expecting otherwise from studs would be imprudent, so there's no need to be overly upset about this. The tire is available in sizes from R13 to R18, covering the needs of the majority of passenger car owners, which is quite significant.
