The Resanta company specializes in the production of welding equipment, voltage stabilizers, high-precision measuring instruments, as well as garden and heating equipment. The wall-mounted IR heater Resanta IKO-2000L is made in Russia, taking into account all the nuances of east european operation. The model is inexpensive, but powerful enough to heat a large room. The manufacturer claims a maximum heating area of 35 m2, but these are very optimistic figures for autonomous heating. Due to the stationary installation and design features, the device is more suitable for heating a workplace or production site. The angle of rotation of the brackets 60° allows flexible mounting with maximum orientation of the radiant panel to the heating object. The heater is completed with a fixing set and a passport-instruction.

Built-in thermostat

The device uses a 2000 W quartz lamp as a heat source, which heats up to operating temperature in a very short time. The reflector gives directional radiation of the solar spectrum, which heats not the air, but directly the objects. During operation, the panel heats up to a temperature of about 300 °C and is equipped with a protective wire mesh. On the back of the case there is a power button and a power cable with a plug, and on the side cover there is a rotary thermostat control designed for stepless change in heating power. The thermostat has a built-in overheating protection function that automatically turns off the device at a temperature threshold. The minimum design life of the heater is 5 years, and the manufacturer gives a 1 year warranty on it.
