Model overview based on user reviews
The Pirelli Ice Zero tires are highly praised for their excellent performance in winter conditions, particularly on ice and snow. Users consistently highlight their strong grip and reliable studding, which ensures stability and safety even in harsh climates. The tires are noted for their durability, with studs remaining intact over multiple seasons. While some mention a slight noise on asphalt, this is considered typical for studded tires and not overly disruptive. The tires are also appreciated for their predictable handling and braking, making them a worthy investment despite their higher price point. Overall, the Pirelli Ice Zero is recommended for those seeking reliable winter tires that perform well in a variety of challenging conditions.

great model, love it

At temperatures of +6-8 and above, it feels slightly unsteady. During the break-in period (again at above-zero temperatures and on asphalt), there is some noise. But it should be noted that at such temperatures, it's not very comfortable to drive on summer tires either. You could say it's the threshold between summer and winter when any tires might not feel quite comfortable. As soon as the temperature stabilized below zero, the tires performed at their best. The weather in the Urals is not always predictable, and there can be severe ice in the morning. Despite this, I feel confident on the road. The car starts off normally, doesn't skid during maneuvers, and brakes excellently. On slush, it behaves predictably, with minimal slipping and excellent braking. When driving on a straight path, it holds the trajectory well, and there's no need for constant steering adjustments. During lane changes and turns, you drive where you need to go without the car sliding.
Perfectly suited for winter in harsh climates.
Some appear in warm weather (I'll write below).

A worthy option!

The only (and hopefully the last) drawback of these tires manifested in the first days of use. During the day, the temperature was still above freezing, but at night it was around zero. In general, it's already too cold for summer tires, but not cold enough for winter studded tires. In fact, at positive temperatures, these tires seemed too soft, which was felt as a slight waddling when driving. However, this was actually beneficial since one has to drive more carefully during the break-in period of the studs anyway. But as the cold set in and the tires broke in, all the best qualities emerged - reliable grip, excellent handling, and adequate braking performance. Overall, a very worthy option for a cold winter. It handles snow and ice excellently.
Ideal for our winter
Only at positive temperatures (+5/7 degrees) - a bit too soft for such weather

I share my impressions with those who are now looking for tires for the coming winter. Ice zero is a great option! In terms of reliability and adequacy of behavior, 100 points out of 100. Last winter it didn’t give me a single unpleasant moment, even in less than the best driving conditions. Good grip. Good handling. It can even cope uphill on a sanded road. Confidently digs snow after snowfalls. In general, an excellent, albeit low-budget option for winter driving.
Strong and reliable spikes (losses during the first winter - 1 piece). Excellent traction on ice. Good cross-country ability in snow. Adequate handling. Predictable braking.
There is noise on the asphalt (a necessary evil when driving on studded tires)
