A model from Finnish tire makers from the Nokian company, addressed to car owners. The emphasis in the tire is on improved wet grip performance. To achieve this, the tire was equipped with an asymmetric tread pattern with different zones of responsibility (Dual Zone Safety). Thus, the stability zone on the outer part of the tread guarantees excellent stability and stable vehicle handling in dry conditions.

And the Wet Safety Zone on the inside of the tread pattern is responsible for grip on wet road surfaces and counteracting hydroplaning. The drainage system of the model relies on the Coanda effect - water is removed from the contact spot not in a straight line, but along the bends of the surface, thereby accelerating its outflow. The Z-shaped sipes in the central tread core blocks, which limit the mobility of the longitudinal ribs, deserve special mention. This improves control accuracy and reduces uneven wear. Aqua Hybrid Compound tires have a high silica content added to their rubber formula, and to avoid excessive tire noise when rolling, the walls of the longitudinal drainage grooves are riddled with small grooves in the shape of golf balls (Silent Groove Design).
