Even the Aqua Sense Compound rubber formula relies on “wet” grip – it ensures effective contact with the road in rainy weather. Nokian Wetproof 1 195/65 R15 91H has an asymmetric tread pattern with a specially shaped Coanda Technology drainage channels. The fluid flow literally “sticks” to the walls of the aquadrainage grooves and is quickly removed from the contact spot to prevent the vehicle from hydroplaning.

Another know-how in the model is the proprietary Silent Grooves system, aimed at minimizing the level of road noise when rolling. The tire was balanced in terms of fuel efficiency, service life, and response to steering commands during active maneuvering. Moreover, rubber exhibits excellent properties not only on wet surfaces, but also on dry roads. The model is produced in common passenger car sizes for wheel diameters from modest 15" to respectable 18".
