The Finnish company Nokian presented the Snowproof 2 winter tire, designed for use on highways and city roads in moderate winter climates. The inner tread of the Nokian Snowproof 2 tire is covered with a layer of SilentDrive acoustic foam, which significantly reduces the noise level when the tire rolls. The rubber mixture contains silicon-containing components that increase tread wear resistance.
