Model overview based on user reviews
The Nexen Winguard tires offer a budget-friendly option with several notable features. Users appreciate the excellent grip on dry asphalt and ice, thanks to the vivid pattern and high tread, making them particularly effective in icy conditions. However, they are less effective in slush and heavy snow, suggesting they are more suited for city driving rather than highways. While some users report significant tread wear after one season, others have found them to be durable and wear-resistant over multiple seasons. The tires are generally not noisy, but some users have experienced skidding on asphalt and a wobbly ride. Despite mixed reviews on performance, the tires are often recommended for their affordable price and are considered a great value for those looking for cost-effective winter tires.

usual model, nothing special

The biggest advantage is the price. You simply won't find rubber cheaper, and Nexen is not the worst option. I have the size 14 185 65, on a Peugeot Partner, and I’m satisfied with the tires, although you can't get everywhere. But for those who want to go anywhere, I suggest buying spikes and enjoying life.
a vivid pattern with a bunch of lugs and high tread; the car, thanks to the tread and softness, grips very well both dry asphalt and ice—it's absolutely amazing on ice, I never even thought it could be... As for slush and heavy snow, the tires didn't perform very well here. Last year, during heavy snowfalls, I did quite a bit of shoveling. The tires are more suited for the city rather than the highway; you should drive them where you can truly get out by yourself!
the tread is not at all wear-resistant; in one season, about 25 percent wore off, which is a lot for winter tires. Usually, you can use winter tires for 4-5 years and only half the tread will be worn out.

Before this, I drove on Vaakyrum, which is also budget-friendly but significantly better. I don't comment on wear quality because, unlike many, I measure wear in kilometers, not seasons, averaging 5-7 thousand per month.
Not noisy.
Solid, skids on asphalt from the start, very wobbly on the road, might be suitable for people from Sumy, as in this city they don't drive over 40 km/h.

great model, love it

When purchasing, I was initially a bit skeptical about the tires, as I was used to driving with more well-known brands. I hadn't heard much about these tires, just came across a couple of positive reviews online. However, the seller recommended them, so I decided to take a chance, especially since they were on sale. I’ve completed the first season with them, and I’m really satisfied. I tested the tires on ice rinks and in the snow. They’re offered at a discount everywhere. An excellent option for their price, I’m very happy.
