Lenovo's 2023 Legion Pro 5 series laptops are advanced 16-inch gaming solutions. The family models are based on the AMD Ryzen platform and are positioned by the manufacturer as the most productive laptops with artificial intelligence. It uses the proprietary AI Engine+ system, which is designed to optimize the gameplay and help the hardware cope with complex tasks. For image display, Lenovo Legion Pro 5 16ARX8 laptops have a 16-inch screen with an IPS matrix, a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, 100% sRGB color gamut and a refresh rate of 165 Hz (and in top configurations - 240 Hz, plus increased brightness up to 500 nits and supports DisplayHDR 400). The hardware is represented by multi-core Dragon Range (Zen 4) processors, these can be either Ryzen 5 or 7.

The performance of the engine is helped by 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, whose frequency is increased to 5200 MHz (there is also another free slot for RAM expansion up to 32 GB). Graphics processing is handled by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series discrete graphics card, which supports AI technologies and performs ray tracing at the hardware level, ensuring smooth images and minimal latency.

Among the other fillings, it is worth highlighting solid-state drives SSD M.2, whose capacity can vary from 512 to 4096 GB, a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) communication module, a proprietary ColdFront 5.0 cooling system, which should ensure low temperatures “inside the case” even at peak loads. The keyboard backlight, fast battery charging (up to 80% in an hour), an abundance of ports and the ability to simultaneously connect up to 3 monitors also deserve special mention.
