A representative of the group of winter tyres with stud holes from the portfolio of the South Korean tyre company Kumho. The model is installed on the wheels of light trucks, minibuses and powerful SUVs for frequent trips on roads not cleared of snow. For better spreading of snow porridge from the contact patch and maximum “biting” into the snowdrifts, the tyre was “drawn” with a directional tread with a large broken rib in the centre, diamond-shaped checkers in the middle and hard shoulder blocks.

The Kumho Power Grip KC11 tread elements are studded with densely cut sipes for added confidence. Water drainage issues in the tyre design are occupied by a network of drainage channels. Their geometric shape is designed with an eye on moving through the snow slush. Functional polymers, silica and silicic acid are added to the rubber "cocktail" of the model, as a result of which the tyre retains elasticity at low sub-zero temperatures, and the pressure is evenly distributed over the entire area of the contact patch. As a result, the tyre has increased wear resistance.
