It's quite possible that I got a faulty model or it was incompatible with my specific laptop. But the problem is clear. We purchased one for work. We were drawn to the fact that it promised high data protection. Otherwise, there's nothing remarkable. Several times the password just wouldn't work. When accessing the information, the laptop would freeze during the password confirmation stage - after rebooting, the flash drive would eventually open, and this happened about once a month. Important data had to be copied onto several other drives because there was no confidence they wouldn't be lost. And that's inconvenient.
