Model overview based on user reviews
The Hankook Winter I*Cept Evo2 W320 tires are praised for their softness and comfort, making them a popular choice among users. They offer excellent handling on various surfaces, including dry and wet asphalt, with minimal noise at lower speeds. Users appreciate their wear resistance, as they show little to no wear even after two seasons of use. However, some reviews highlight that these tires may struggle in deep snow and icy conditions, where they can skid or get stuck. Overall, they are considered a good value for money, especially for city driving, but may not be the best choice for severe winter conditions.

the model is already in its second year on the market, but everyone buys the old ones - on the knurled one, this one was recommended by a colleague who took it for himself - as the softest of all the ones that have been purchased, I can add from myself that the composition is really, well, extremely soft, you can’t hear the wheels at all on dry asphalt, acoustic comfort very up to par
soft, very soft, adds a lot of comfort, it’s difficult to evaluate yet since I’ve only been driving for 1 day, and the price - for the money it seems like the best option, a colleague recommended it as the softest one I’ve found, I also think that the pattern is not a herringbone pattern how he really buzzes
not detected in the early stages, and there was no winter as such

Hankook Winter I*Cept Evo2 W320 205/55 R16 94V XL.
Overall, I'd say the tires match the price/quality criteria. I've driven on them for one and a half seasons, and during this period, I had the chance to test them in all weather conditions typical of a European winter.
Dry asphalt at 0 °C (same at +10 and -10), speed 90-140 — handling is perfect, moderate noise.
Wet asphalt, water on the road, speed 90-130 — handling is excellent, no aquaplaning observed when driving through puddles on the highway.
Ice, snowy roads, speed 40-80 — handling is normal, predictable, uphill starts are not easy.
Slushy snow and deep wet snow — in courtyards and parking lots, a shovel is a must, it digs in and barely gets out, expected more.

The recent model, which replaced the W310
I've been using this set for two seasons and I'm very satisfied with the tires.
In the snow, both loose and packed, it drives confidently with a clear steering response.
On ice, everything is predictable and manageable. With sudden throttle work, naturally, it slips, but this is not a surprise.
For the city, these tires are simply excellent, and they are almost silent.
Noise from the wheels only appears at speeds of 80 and above.
On dry surfaces, it drives normally, and at positive temperatures, it is very soft, resulting in slight body roll in corners.
After two seasons and about 20,000 km of mileage (SUV weighing 2 tons), there is no obvious wear, although it was driven from October to April, including on dry and warm days.

Harsh winters are rare in South Korea. That is why Hankook's winter tyre proving ground has been built in Finland above the Arctic Circle.

Harsh conditions

The Hankook Winter i*Cept Evo2 W320 tyre handles harsh conditions and boasts stable handling at high speeds on snowy roads. However, on rolled snow, its behavior deteriorates slightly — nothing critical, if you do not break the car into slipping by sharply pressing the gas pedal.

Asymmetry

The asymmetric shape of the tyre tread is modeled in such a way as to increase the grip properties of the contact patch of the model with the road. Blocks in the outer shoulder area contribute to better handling on snow, and closer to the inside — effective braking and traction. The central row of diamond-shaped blocks provides vehicle directional stability.

Leadership skills

The model remains soft and quiet regardless of the outside temperature. However when warming in the corners, roll can be observed, which should not be overlooked. In general, the tyre is destined to become one of the leaders in the medium segment, displacing its predecessor, the popular friction tyre Hankook Winter I * Cept Evo W310, from this position.
