Good to know:

The DVD player is THX Ultra certified and is one of the most expensive DVD players out there. It uses proprietary DPIC (DENON Pixel Image Correction) technology and a ten-bit professional scaler from DVDO to improve the image. The DVD A1XV is equipped with 14 bit, 216 MHz video DACs.

The novelty is designed on the basis of the HQV (Hollywood Quality video) video processor from Teranex. It has a high performance of one trillion operations per second and provides full 10-bit video processing, which in turn provides rendering of more than one billion colours and full adaptation to fast-moving scenes for both Standard Definition and High Definition signals. The processor also eliminates image roughness without blurring the boundaries, reduces noise when processing signals from video sources, improves overall image detail on a pixel-by-pixel SD basis, thereby achieving HD quality. And support for signals of different intensities allows you to display the original image format without loss in resolution. The same video processing engine - 1 trillion operations per second - is used in the notorious Teranex Xantus box, costing $60,000.

It is capable of converting standard DVD video format to near true High Definition quality and supports superior quality graphics, clear text and dynamic video. Realta HQV video signal processing technology includes many filters and image enhancement options.

The HDMI interface guarantees high quality, wideband, uncompressed audio and video transmission from any compatible HD source. It is one of the best solutions available today for connecting a device to audio/video sources, providing complete signal integrity and DVI compatibility.

The Denon DVD-A1XV can handle not only standard DVD discs, but also DVD-Audio and Super Audio CDs. In fact, the novelty is compatible with all audio and video formats, including MP3, WMA and JPEG content.
