Until 2017, tyre manufacturers from Continental recommended using seasonal “shoes” on cars. But demand, as you know, creates supply. As a result, their opinion changed and the AllSeasonContact model entered the arena of year-round tyres.

All weather character

All-weather "contacts" are supposed to be operated on the wheels of urban cars in regions with mild climatic conditions during the cold season. The adaptability of the tyre to different weather and temperature extremes is due to the use of Traction Silica proprietary compound. As you might guess, it is characterized by a high content of silica for the sake of improving grip and maintaining elasticity.

The Continental AllSeasonContact central tread blocks form a directional pattern with a small number of sipes. Nevertheless, the “grasping” properties of the tyres are not weak and it rides on snowy roads with complete confidence. The "shoulders" of the tyre contain numerous transverse blocks with narrow slots in the middle. In the process of movement, they form many long edges, with which the tyre clings to the smallest bumps during acceleration and braking.

Positive traits

The list of advantages of the model would be incomplete without special mention of low rolling resistance and reinforced sidewalls. With all the positive qualities, tyres still have no right to compete on equal terms with seasonal tyres for cars.
