The Spanish company Cata, which is the largest manufacturer of kitchen hoods and ventilation equipment in the Pyrenees, even emphasizes its Catalan ancestry with its name. Cata is headquartered in Torello near Barcelona, with major manufacturing facilities in Spain, Brazil and China. The Cata X-MART 10 T household exhaust fan belongs to the category of affordable European-class appliances designed for efficient ventilation of small spaces. This is an overhead model with a capacity of 98 m3/h, designed for installation on a vertical or horizontal air duct with a diameter of 100 mm. The built-in 15W fan rotates at 2500rpm and the noise generated by the impeller is 38dB.

Quick Fix Grip System

The model received a case with a practical decorative panel (150x150x31 mm) in stainless steel colour. The overlay panel does not have a grille, and air is sucked in along its perimeter. The housing is duct-mounted with the exclusive Quick Fix Grip system, and the front panel can be easily removed without the use of a screwdriver or special tool. The top of the aerodynamic impeller has an LED operating status indicator consisting of 3 dot signal lights. On the back of the case there are automatic blinds, which exclude the reverse draft of air into the room. The device is equipped with a turn-off delay timer, which can be set from 2 to 20 minutes. The IPX4 water protection level (water splash proof) allows the fan to be used in a damp bathroom or lavatory, while an integrated thermal cut-out provides additional safety with overheating protection (40 °C). The manufacturer gives a 1 year manufacturer's warranty on the device.
