From the press release:

The DV917HD is part of BBK's high definition DVD player line and can generate high definition signal in HDTV quality (1080i/1080p resolution) via HDMI interface. High-quality multi-channel sound will be provided by the built-in 5.1CH audio output, as well as Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Pro Logic II decoders. The player is able to read discs of almost all popular audio and video formats. The player's multimedia capabilities are significantly expanded by the built-in USB2.0 port, which allows playback of audio and video files directly from the flash memory of external compatible devices. Additionally, the device is equipped with a KARAOKE ++ system and is equipped with two microphone inputs and a headphone output. A karaoke disc with 500 songs is included as a gift.

Good to know:

Dolby Digital 5.1
Audio data representation format for multi-channel audio. It is designed for 6 independent channels of digital audio: stereo front left and right, centre dialogue and two stereo rear channels plus a dedicated low-frequency channel for the subwoofer. It is a standard for storing audio information on video DVD discs in 60 Hz systems (NTSC).

Digital Theater System (DTS)
DTS is an audio coding format characterized by a low "compression ratio", about three times less information is removed from the original signal than in Dolby Digital.

HDMI
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an all-digital audio/video interface that combines video and audio signals into a single digital interface for communication between different digital video and audio devices. The advantage of the HDMI interface is the transmission of uncompressed digital video signal with a bandwidth of up to 5 GB per second.
