Electric infrared heater Ballu BIH-T-2.0-E is designed for directional heating of rooms and covered areas (protection class IP20). The model belongs to the BIH-T range of domestic and commercial appliances with heating power from 1000 to 6000 W. Neither wind nor sub-zero temperatures interfere with the device for direct and rapid transfer of heat to the heating object. Although the device is designed for ceiling installation (height above the floor from 2.5 m), it can also be mounted at some angle to the horizon. The narrow and long body measuring 4.5x173.5x11 cm is painted with heat-resistant silver paint, and the reflector is made of polished heat-resistant stainless steel, which does not darken throughout the entire service life. Due to the absence of a protective grill and thermostat in the design, the device weighs only 3.1 kg, which greatly simplifies its installation.

The power of the 2000 W tubular heating element in a stainless steel sheath is enough to effectively heat a room of 20 m2, and when using a device for additional heating, heat is enough for a space of approximately 40 m2. The device is supplied without a temperature controller (thermostat), which should be purchased additionally to expand the possibilities of heating control. In addition to automating heating and saving energy by periodically turning on / off the device, the thermostat adds an important function of protection against overheating. The manufacturer suggests using the device in tandem with compatible Ballu temperature controllers of the BMT (mechanical) and BDT (digital) series. The heater is designed and manufactured in Russia, and the manufacturer gives it a 2-year warranty.
