Asus' line of laptops has expanded to include the Vivobook S series in 2023. These are mid- and advanced-class solutions that can be recommended for office work or study, as well as for various business tasks or even professional use, for example, for designers. All members of the family are distinguished by a fairly thin body (18 mm), a light overall weight (1.7 kg) and a good level of strength, as they comply with the military protection standard MIL-STD-810. Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED K5504VN laptops are based on the Intel Raptor Lake (13th Gen) platform, and depending on the configuration, can be equipped with either a Core i5 or Core i9 engine. The filling also invariably includes 16 GB of DDR5 RAM with an operating frequency of 4800 MHz and a discrete graphics adapter Arc A350M with 4 GB of video memory, and there is also a solid-state drive of at least 512 GB “on board”. In most modifications, the 15.6-inch screen is based on an OLED matrix (but there are also exceptions based on IPS) with excellent contrast, high brightness and compliance with the DisplayHDR 600 True Black standard. Among the additional advantages of laptops, the presence of a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) module, a Thunderbolt v4 port, a Harman Kardon speaker system, a webcam with a protective shutter, a proprietary ergonomic keyboard with white backlight, and a fingerprint scanner stand out. It is also worth noting that all representatives of the line have acquired the Intel Evo nameplate, which confirms the high consumer qualities of the devices and provides such pleasant features as almost instant awakening from sleep mode, a decent reserve of autonomy with support for fast charging (in this case, no less than 60% for 49 minutes), high-quality factory calibration (including Pantone certification for modifications with an OLED display).
