The infrared heater Ardesto IH-2000-CBN1B is a local heating device designed for wall or ceiling mounting. The recommended suspension height above the floor, which determines the effective heating zone, is 2.4 – 3.5 m. At the same time, the higher the device is mounted, the more space will receive thermal radiation, but with less heating intensity. The device is supplied without a stand (purchased separately) for floor installation. Thanks to IP55 water protection, the heater can be used not only in indoor areas and rooms, but also on outdoor areas. Depending on the installation location (outdoors or indoors), the actual heating area will be in the range of 12 – 24 m2. The heater is equipped with a safety shutdown function in case of overheating. There is also a more powerful Ardesto IH-2500-CBN1B model on the market with similar features.

Timer and 4 power settings

The body of the device is made of duralumin and coated on the outside with heat-resistant black powder paint. The heating element, consisting of a quartz tube and a carbon fibre filament, has a long service life of 10,000 hours. This lamp life is enough for about 3.5 years of daily 8-hour heating. The mirror reflector, reflecting 98% of the radiation, reduces heat loss, and the grille protects against burns when in contact with the heater. On the right side of the facade of the housing there is a push-button control unit with a small digital display. With the control button, you can set one of 4 heating power modes: 800, 1200, 1600 and 2000 W. All this can be done from the supplied remote control, which additionally allows you to set the operating time of the device using the built-in sleep timer (maximum 24 hours). The device is made in China, and the manufacturer gives a 12-month factory warranty on it.
