A family of entry-level laptops that offer a bit more capability compared to ultra-budget models, while maintaining an affordable price. These devices are aimed at users who need a reliable tool for work, study, or basic multimedia tasks without unnecessary costs on premium features. Unlike the lower-end Extensa laptop models with Intel N-series processors, more powerful Intel Core Raptor Lake chips are used here.
Options with the simpler Core i3 are suitable for office applications and web browsing, Core i5 handles multitasking and light content processing, and Core i7 provides the power reserve for more intensive use scenarios. RAM capacity is 16 or 32 GB, which noticeably distinguishes this lineup among competitors: 16 GB is already enough for comfortable work with a dozen tabs and simple editors, while 32 GB seems excessive for typical entry-level tasks but might be useful for prolonged use.
All modifications of the Acer Aspire Go AG15-51P are equipped with fairly simple 15.6-inch IPS displays with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, standard color reproduction (45% NTSC), wide viewing angles, and an increased refresh rate of 144 Hz. Among other features of the series are the wireless module with Wi-Fi 6, support for HDMI 2.1 interface for external monitors, support for Power Delivery, and a standard webcam with a 1280x720 pixel sensor. The body is plastic, without claims to premiumness, but assembled neatly. The laptop itself weighs about 1.8 kg and does not pose particular problems for regular transportation.
