The AN family from the Chinese brand Deepcool produces well-designed and well-built processor coolers with a fairly low profile. Unlike budget Deepcool ALTA coolers, created as an alternative to box fans, AN models belong to solutions of a more serious level. These COs have a Top Flow design and are capable of cooling fairly powerful Performance-class processors with an impressive thermal package of up to 200 W.

A typical representative of the AN series looks like this: it is a dense “sandwich”, at the bottom of which there is an aluminium heatsink with dense fins, and several indirect contact heat pipes pass through it. The radiator is usually blown by a 120 mm fan with PWM control and a durable hydrodynamic bearing. Its rotation speed can vary from almost silent (500 rpm) to very noticeable (1850 rpm).

At the start, only one model was presented in the series - Deepcool AN600 costing about 50 euros. The AN600 supports all popular processor sockets, including the latest AMD AM5 and Intel LGA 1700. The design height is only 67 mm. And thanks to a solid thermal package of around 180 W, it is able to cope with cooling very powerful and hot Ryzen 5 7600X and Core i5 14600K chips. That is, this is a solid and reliable cooling system that is ideal for compact gaming PCs or workstations for working with media content.
