The wire used for connection can create certain inconveniences — in particular, restrict mobility and get tangled under the arms. On the other hand, such a connection is noticeably superior to wireless in terms of reliability and noise immunity, it allows you to get very clear and high-quality sound without any special tricks. And the headphones themselves are lighter and more compact than wireless models with similar characteristics — while they are also cheaper and have an unlimited operating time (because they do not require separate power supplies). Therefore, this type of connection is still the most popular; and high-end audiophile and professional headphones (in particular, studio ones) are almost all made wired.
