The focal length range of 24-70 mm is a kind of “gold” standard in the photography industry. The lion's share of all photographs are taken within these boundaries. It is with this focal range that the Sigma 24-70 F2.8 DG DN A lens shoots, maintaining a high maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the entire zoom range. The model from the Art line is notable for its excellent optical properties and is assembled to the highest standards.

Its design is based on an optical design consisting of 18 elements in 13 groups. The lens has an 11-blade aperture. It also has a silent and fast stepper drive installed under the hood for automatic focusing. Sigma's brainchild catches the focus on the subject in the frame from a minimum distance of 18 cm. Weighing about 835 g, the dimensions of the lens are 88x123 mm (in diameter and length, respectively). Together with the model, the photographer has the right to use large-caliber filters with a diameter of 82 mm. The zoom is available in two different versions for full-frame mirrorless cameras from Sony or Panasonic.
