Compared to the QuietComfort 35 II, the QuietComfort 45 has improved noise cancellation and transparency mode, a more durable die-cast housing, and fast charging (fast charging platform not included).

The advanced full-size wireless headphones introduced to the market by Bose in 2021 as a logical evolution of the second generation Bose QC35. Before us are large and comfortable full-size headphones of the Over-Ear type, which sit on the ears as comfortably as possible and do not cause fatigue even during prolonged continuous use. Thanks to the special oval shape of the ear cushions, the user's ears do not press and do not experience discomfort.

Among the key features of the model is an improved noise reduction system and a transparency mode, thanks to which the models allow you to focus on the music even in the noisiest work situations or on a busy street. Built-in dynamic drivers provide the highest quality and detailed sound - "ears" sound good and even expensive over the entire frequency range. As for battery life, they are able to play up to 24 hours on their own, while it takes only 2.5 hours to fully charge from scratch. The headphones use the USB-C interface. But the connection to the signal source can be carried out both via the Bluetooth v 5.1 wireless protocol and via the wired mini-Jack (3.5 mm). But at the same time, for some reason, USB-C cannot be used to connect to a signal source, only for charging. The set includes a convenient branded case.

Heir to the famous QuietComfort 35 headphones

Bose, known for its active noise-canceling headphones, has traditionally made wired models, but its original QuietComfort 35 and its updated QuietComfort 35 II have become very popular among travelers. In the winter of 2021, the company introduced a new model, QuietComfort 45, which, compared to its predecessor, received improved active noise cancellation, an improved transparency mode, a more durable case and a fast charging function.

Best ANC system?

The active noise cancellation system effectively eliminates monotonous noise and suppresses sudden sounds well. The Bose QuietComfort 45 is comparable in noise-canceling quality to the Sony WH-1000XM4, making it one of the best in this category. The ease of use in headset mode also deserves attention: the voice is transmitted clearly, without noise interference. Control is via three buttons on the right earpiece, and pairing with devices is easy, especially with NFC support. A standard audio cable is also available for connection.

Thoroughbred sound

The headphones retain the clear and natural sound characteristic of previous models: all frequencies are reproduced perfectly, instruments sound clear and separate, the stereo stage is wide, and the bass is deep without interrupting the rest of the sound. The design is elegant and discreet, and the quality of construction is high. The large ear cups cover the ear for a comfortable fit, and the soft ear pads allow you to comfortably use them for several hours. Overall, the QuietComfort 45 are a worthy continuation of the series, claiming to be the best headphones in their price category.
