As the name implies, Huawei's Band series includes traditional fitness trackers with typical features for these devices, such as heart rate tracking, counting steps taken, sleep tracker, built-in trainer, etc. Unlike smartwatches, for full use, a fitness tracker requires a connection to a smartphone, to which all data is sent.

In early versions of Huawei Band there were monochrome displays, in later models colour TFT and AMOLED screens appeared, and the design became more interesting, often resembling classic watches, not wristbands a la FitBit. Most of the models in this series are protected from moisture and equipped with replaceable straps. In some cases, bracelets with GPS and NFC are on the market, but this is rather an exception to the rule.

At the time of writing this material (note: autumn 2021), the most current models in this line are stylish frameless Huawei Band 6 and Band 6 Pro bracelets. These trackers support 96 training modes and TruSleepTM 2.0 sleep tracking technology, work for up to 2 weeks without recharging and are able to track blood oxygen levels. Huawei Band 6 Pro has an identical filling, but at the same time the display is larger and it is possible to measure the user's body temperature. The regular Huawei Band 6 does not have a built-in thermometer.

Considering that both bracelets look very, very presentable, are equipped with colour AMOLED displays, all the necessary sensors and support many training modes, many users see them as an excellent alternative to more expensive smartwatches. After all, fitness trackers are much cheaper and can work for weeks without recharging.
