— car stereos that are capable of working with Wi-Fi technology (see “Wi-Fi module”), but do not themselves have Wi-Fi modules – such a device must be purchased separately, in the form of an external adapter. This option is convenient because the customer can buy a car stereo without overpaying for an “extra” wireless module, and then, if necessary, purchase a Wi-Fi adapter for it. However, it is worth considering that such an accessory usually occupies a USB port, preventing other devices from being connected to it. Also note that the models of compatible adapters should be specified separately in each case.
