TP-LINK's Deco series includes small and neat mesh routers that can connect to each other, creating one seamless network with a large coverage area. Unlike networks with a master router or systems with a master and slave router, the mesh works differently. Each router works independently of the others, as an independent combat unit, but at the same time all routers are combined into a seamless network. Thanks to this, the system constantly compares the location of the client with the signal level and, if necessary, imperceptibly transfers the connection to a neighboring mesh point. The result is a seamless network, all access points are equal, and the coverage has no "dead zones".

There are more than a dozen different models in the Deco series assortment, which can be bought singly or as a set of two or three pieces. In rare cases, this may be a kit consisting of one wireless router and an additional amplifier. Models of 2021 release are friends with the Wi-Fi 6 communication protocol, earlier ones work only in Wi-Fi networks of the fourth and fifth generation. Almost all of them are able to work in two frequency bands, are equipped with gigabit LAN ports and are friends with MU-MIMO technology.

The added beauty of Deco systems is the ease of installation. Usually, the user just needs to read the QR code on the box, get a link to the mobile application, download it and install it. Next, you need to register your TP-Link ID, select a network name, passwords and follow the step-by-step instructions with illustrations. Considering that new access points receive data from existing network members, the process of arrangement and installation takes less than 20 minutes. Well, not to mention the design. Understanding that routers will be scattered throughout the room, TP-LINK designers strived for purity and simplicity of forms so that a neat white box would fit into any interior.
