Recently, many manufacturers have been trying to rethink the classic case layout, experimenting with the location of power supply bays, motherboard trays, etc. Some of them came to the conclusion that with the right approach, a compact and neat cube case case can accommodate no less hardware inside than a full-fledged midi tower, and in most cases such a box will look more neat and interesting, fitting into the interior without any problems.

Inside such a box there is usually a tray for a compact micro-ATX/mini-ITX motherboard, a tower cooler with a height of 155 to 165 mm, 7 - 8 case fans or a full-fledged liquid cooling system. Depending on the model, the maximum length of the video card can range from 330 to 410 mm. The power supply is usually hidden in the lower section, there is a hidden routing of wires and the possibility of installing a full-fledged dropsy, but there is not so much space and a conditional custom dropsy may not fit. Despite the abundance of glass, these cases are quite well ventilated, however, due to the limited internal space, the manufacturer recommends using moderately powerful, but not the hottest components of the Ryzen 7 + GeForce RTX 4070 level.

As for the model range, in 2023 Gamemax engineers decided to keep up with fashion and introduced several larger Midi Tower cases of the X2 series with a dual-chamber design. The manufacturer’s idea is to use the auxiliary section as a kind of storage room, in which you can hide the power supply and all unnecessary cables, so that the components will be better ventilated, and the cable noodles hanging everywhere will not be visible through the transparent walls. Unlike their smaller counterparts, the dual-chamber options from Gamemax are designed with an eye on fairly powerful and massive components that require effective cooling.
