Kaveri processors
Kaveri
— the third generation of APUs are A-series processors from AMD, one of the features of which is the mandatory presence of integrated graphics. Built on the Steamroller microarchitecture, which replaced Piledriver in early 2014 (specifically, Trinity and Richland chips, see the relevant paragraphs) and introduced a reduced manufacturing process to 28 nm, as well as a new FM2 + socket, incompatible with the previous FM2. At the same time, the Kaveri code designation is found in both low-cost and mid-range processors.clear | Save List |
