TVs with SCART
SCART
— an outdated but still widely used input for connecting various external signal sources to the TV. The largest input in consumer audio and video equipment, has a specific rectangular shape and 21 pins (20 plus case grounding). Such an abundance of pins made it possible to combine several video/audio standards in the SCART connector at once: you can connect a composite, component or S-Video signal to this input using a simple adapter cable. In addition, the TV's SCART can work not only as an input, but also as an output that transmits to external equipment a signal received from an antenna or another source (for example, for recording). First of all, it is worth looking for a model with such an interface if you plan to connect devices with analogue outputs to the TV.clear | Save List |
