Perpendicular handles
The presence of
perpendicular handles in the design of the horizontal bar (see “Product type”; this feature is not relevant for parallel bars).
We are talking about a pair of horizontal handles installed on the crossbar of the horizontal bar perpendicular to it and usually directed “outward” (for example, for wall-mounted models — away from the wall). Such handles provide additional opportunities for performing pull-ups, allowing you to hold onto the horizontal bar with a non-standard grip that is not available on a classic bar.
Weight
The total weight of the device. In most cases, this information is important not only for transportation but also for the installation of the device. So, in models with wall, between walls and ceiling mounts, the weight determines the required type of fasteners and features of the "seat". When installing on a Swedish wall, you need to take into account the weight of the device when assessing the maximum allowable load of the entire structure. For example, if the Swedish wall has a weight limit of 110 kg, and the horizontal bar weighs 6 kg, then when using the horizontal bar, the maximum allowable weight of the athlete will be 110 – 6 = 104 kg.
